Each year in May, in gratitude for the love, abundance, intuition, and joy that is present in her life, Rabbit offers a ritual celebration in honor of Oshun, the Orisha of sweet waters, love, beauty, and wealth that offers us so many blessings: fresh water to drink, the beauty of the natural world, and the blood in our veins.
This annual event is a beautiful, elegant, and fun-filled celebration with singing, dancing, drumming, storytelling, hors d’oeuvres, fancy water and champagne, and store specials on select items to help draw love, wealth, beauty and healing.
Drop in between 5:00 and 7:00 pm to shop, chat, nibble, sip and socialize. Bring your drum and join us from 7:00 to 9:00 pm as we sit beneath the Colonnades and offer our energies to Lake Merritt, the Oshun of Oakland.

Dark of the Moon Practice
for Hermes and Hekate
Wednesday, May 8 (monthly within the three day Dark Moon window)

Sam Webster (founder of the Open Source Order of the Golden Dawn, author of Tantric Thelema, and Priest of Hermes and Hekate) hosts an open Dark of the Moon practice at The Sacred Well each month, making offerings to Hermes and Hekate.
The large wooden representation of Hermes, classically called a Herm, was consecrated and worshipped at PantheaCon 2013 by Pagans, Magickians, and spiritual practitioners from many different backgrounds in a large ceremony that drew heavily on classical Greek material.
The Herm now resides at The Sacred Well, and each month we gather to continue this sacred work with Dark Moon ritual for Hermes and Hekate, who were frequently honored at the crossroads together in ancient Greece.
Take time today, in some small way, to honor the sacred beauty of herbs and our long connection with them and dependence on them for our health and well-being. Blessed be the green ones!!

The Heart of Faerie Oracle workshop

This workshop focuses on connecting with matters of the heart, in particular our connection to faerie. Jane will also teach participants how to use the beautiful Faerie Oracle deck, designed and written by Brian and Wendy Froud. She will also read for participants, from this deck, during class. Relationships, such as intimate relationships, friendships, will also be discussed, as they relate to using this deck.
Jane Rocio Evans, MA., has worked as a counselor, counseling families and their children. She has taught classes on soul mates and twin flames, goddesses in every woman, numerology. She has written and led rituals on Psyche and Eros, the Spring Equinox, and Lammas.

In Part Four of astrobarry’s 4-part astrology course, we will focus on the different ways to use astrology to interpret the dynamics at play in our interpersonal relationships.
We’ll examine which types of relationships likely to be most fulfilling to an individual, based on factors present in the birthchart.
We’ll also learn how to look at two birthcharts together, analyzing the planetary inter-aspects between them using synastry. This allows us to better understand the unique blessings and challenges specific to the relationship.
Prerequisite: Fundamentals 1 , 2 & 3, or the basic ability to understand a birthchart and planetary transits.
